Alan Caiger Smith founded Aldermaston pottery in 1955 which ran until 2006. Andrew Hazelden who produced this vase worked at Aldermaston pottery between 1984-1993 when he left to start The Pottery, also in Aldermaston. This vase was produced at The Pottery in 1994 and is dated as such on the base. It has a clear painted signature / monogram on the base for Andrew Hazelden. Tin glazed it measures:- 12cm in height 8cm rim diameter Weight 258g This vase is in good condition and free from any chips, cracks repairs or renovation. There is a small ‘stain’ in the glaze most likely a firing mark from the kiln in production - see last photograph.
